90% Plus Face Mask

MDSA would like to introduce our 90% Plus Face Mask, this is a face mask that is designed to filter out 90% Plus of the air pollution particles up to and including  0.5 microns. Our tests done with a Dylos Air Monitor indicates that the mask filters out more than 90% of the PM2.5 pollutants in the air. This face mask is washable and designed for everyday use and is breathable, tear-resistant and they are not easily damaged by friction

The 90% Plus Face Mask was designed specifically for persons suffering from mold sensitivity, sensitivity to city smog and pollution, and can be used in hospital environments as this provide better protection than a normal surgical mask. We have tested this mask in extreme conditions and the result is always the same, you will breathe clean un polluted air when you wear this mask.

The 90% Plus Face Mask is hand-made in South Africa and consist of 4 layers, 2 outer layer polycotton and 2x filter layers, it is made of 8 seperate pieces that is sewn together. It further has a wire inserted in the nose section that can be fashioned over the nose to fit more snugly. The 90% Plus Face Mask has 2 elastic straps that will fit over your ears and will assist in pulling the face mask tightly against your face.

Important notice - virus protection, almost every one in the eastern countries are wearing a face mask, it has been found that a face mask reduces virus infection ratio substantially (see video), the CDC in America has now advised USA citizens to start wearing masks. In the absence of N95 masks it has been found that cloth face masks also provides protection. The MDSA 90% Plus Face Mask  has been developed to a level similar to a Surgical Mask. See test here

Face Mask Comparison

A test was conducted with a Dylos Air Monitor (see video), the following equipment was used: a industrial air blower coupled to a 50mm dia polyvinyl pipe,an air mask fastened with rubber bands on the other end, the air blower was set at level 2 strength. The 90% Plus Face Mask on average equals the performance of a Surgical Face Mask.
